💌 Celebrating my 50’s by Decluttering: A once in a lifetime opportunity to own an authentic archival Hermès "Paris Modiste" 90cm Silk Carré scarf. A rare heritage piece from my personal collection; this 90cm silk twill carré features the iconic "Paris Modiste" motif.
Condition: Excellent. This item has recently returned from a professional dry clean. 
The Artist: Designed by Hugo Grygkar (1907–1959), the "Father of the Hermès Carré." Grygkar designed the very first Hermès scarf and remains the most prolific and collectible artist in the Maison's history.
The Design: Originally issued in 1956, "Paris Modiste" is a whimsical, intricate homage to the golden age of Parisian milliners. It depicts 19th-century French hat boxes and an array of sophisticated bonnets—a true "wearable canvas" of fashion history.
Authenticity & Hallmarks: THE HEMS: Features the signature Hermès hand-rolled edges, rolled impeccably toward the front. Includes the "Hermès-Paris" signature within the print.
The Fabric: Iconic heavy silk twill with high sheen; a hallmark of authentic vintage Hermès.
