Nintendogs adorable puppies return to handhelds alongside some feline friends in this sequel to Nintendogs on Nintendo 3DS.

Originally appearing on Nintendo DS, Nintendogs allowed players to look after their own loveable puppies thanks to the DS touch screen and stylus, letting players to stroke their pets, take them for walks and give them baths in far more interactive ways. Its first sequel, Nintendogs + Cats, gives players more than twenty breeds to pick from in total, including a selection of cats for the first time. Each puppy and kitten has its own unique personality that players will slowly discover.

Using the Nintendo 3DS camera, pets will now react to their owners face, as well as their voice, thanks to facial recognition. Players can also take pictures of their pets to share other players. Using the built-in pedometer, owners can now take their pets on real walks, their steps being counted as they go.

Nintendogs + Cats builds on the success of the original Nintendogs by utilizing the unique features of the Nintendo 3DS and giving players a host of new puppies and kittens to choose from.
