My favourite find of the year!  A 1920’s-1940’s Brazilian inlaid wood serving tray with curved up handles featuring a design made of iridescent Morpho butterfly wings under glass. This one has some wing damage but it is mostly in beautiful condition with the glass and wood perfectly in tact and the colour of the wings outstandingly preserved. These are distinctive pieces of traditional Brazilian craft from the art deco era. This one has no markings so it may possibly have been made in England.
