The jacket has that rugged , raw American feel. You can feel the quality just from the weight. Lots of pockets for storage. Premium zippers and buttons. 

For my peeps new to vintage, any garment made in USA is highly sought after , because quality back in the day compared to now is chalk and cheese. 💯
