This is a vintage metal tabletop lighter designed in the shape of an armoured military vehicle / APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier). These novelty lighters were popular from the 1950s through the 1970s, especially those made in Japan—which one is, as the “JAPAN” mark is visible on the lighter mechanism.

The lighter mechanism on top is a classic flint-wheel petrol lighter, not butane.

The body is a cast metal model of an armoured vehicle—stylistically similar to U.S. or Soviet APCs.

Measuring about 10–11 cm long.

The wheels and body are decorative; only the top mechanism functions as the lighter.

These were often sold as novelty gifts or souvenirs.

I think it just needs a new flint and lighter fuel to work,but I am not sure. Sold as is.
