​It just landed, and honestly? The temptation to keep this one for my own mantelpiece is incredibly real.
​Heavy, solid cast brass with the most spectacular, intricate pierced (openwork) detailing. It features a stacked baluster stem, a beautiful hollow center, and a striking triple-footed scrolling base covered in delicate floral motifs. It has tons of gorgeous Chinoiserie and Asian revival energy.

​Material: Heavy cast brass / bronze alloy with a stunning, authentic aged patina and touches of verdigris in the recesses.
​Size: 20cm Height

​Fits a thick modern pillar candle perfectly (or a glass votive cup). There's a small central hole in the plate, hinting it may have originally lived life as part of an antique altar piece or lamp assembly.

​Excellent vintage condition. The openwork casting is entirely intact with no cracks or damage. It has earned its moody, oxidized patina honestly over the decades, giving it so much soul. I’ve left it unpolished because that aged look is pure magic, but you could shine it up if you prefer the bright gold look!

​Use it to elevate your cozy dinner setups, or just leave it on a stack of art books to make everyone think you spend your weekends sourcing treasures in moody European antique markets.
