Proof that the 1970s knew exactly what they were doing. This hand-thrown pair of studio pottery vases traded smooth, predictable glazes for a deliciously tactile, cratered "fat lava" texture. Sculpted with slender necks and wonderfully organic silhouettes, they are wrapped in alternating bands of dusty mauve-pink and muted sage green. It’s an earthy, romantic combo that feels like a sun-drenched afternoon captured in clay.

Perch them together on a wooden sideboard, next to a leafy pothos, or anywhere that needs a splash of mid-century soul. They look gorgeous with a single dried stem, but they have more than enough personality to stand completely empty as sculptural art.
