1930s Scarce Vintage Handcrafted Silk Lace Mantilla – Large Triangular Shawl / Scarf

A stunning large handcrafted silk lace Mantilla dating from the 1930s, beautifully made and rich in vintage charm. Traditionally designed to be worn over the head, this versatile piece also works wonderfully as a decorative shawl draped over the shoulders, making it both wearable and display-worthy.

The lace features delicate floral motifs throughout, finished with an attractive wavy lace border, giving the piece movement and visual depth. The craftsmanship and detailing are unmistakably not mass-produced, which is becoming rarer and more expensive as these skills are dying out.

There are some small areas of holes visible on close inspection, consistent with age and use, but overall the Mantilla remains in very good vintage condition and presents beautifully when worn.  I am happy to supply further photographs upon request. Bundle with other items to save on postage costs.  Ex-stock of an upmarket shop stocking carefully chosen antique and collectable pieces.
