Design: It features a durable, child-friendly construction with bright, iconic "My First Sony" color-coding (red, yellow, and blue) and large, easy-to-use buttons. 

Functionality: The device served as both a cassette player and a recorder. It typically included a built-in microphone and a sing-along microphone with a coiled cord. 
(Unfortunately the Microphone is not included as it’s gone missing but any other 3rd party microphone with a headphone jack can work)

Target Audience: It was marketed for children ages 4 and up, aiming to introduce them to audio technology and recording in a fun, accessible way.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

The Play and Stop and Eject buttons work perfectly however the FFW and Rewind buttons do not work because the rubber belt has perished. This can be replaced)
