The style of the Canon A590, released almost 18 years ago in 2008, is a true vintage point & shoot cam. Its body style can be described as retro - It's boxy rather than slim, but it's also more comfortable to hold thanks to that AA battery chamber and still small enough to easily slip into most pockets.

Features of the A590 include: 8.0 Megapixel sensor; 4 x Optical Zoom lens with Image Stabilisation; 640 x 480p Video recording at 30fps with sound, 5 cm Macro focusing distance, up to 150 shots on 2 x Alkaline batteries (Supplied), 19 Shooting modes and a 5 cm 115000-dot LCD Screen.
