Bumping into this little mid-2000’s Lumix camera exceeded my expectation to a great degree! Do not be fooled by its cheap and simple design. It's not the prettiest camera on the block, but the LZ2 is very compact when you consider its packing a full 6 x Optical Zoom lens (Most small digi-cams are equipped with 5 x Zoom). It’s as good as any professional cam in the right hands and is well-suited for beginners - *See the sample photos that I’ve added.
