The body style is retro - It's boxy rather than slim, but it's also more comfortable to hold thanks to that AA battery chamber and still small enough to easily slip into most pockets. You can get your fingers comfortably around the battery compartment of the A530 for a stable shooting platform leaving your index finger is free to toy with the Shutter button or Zoom lever surrounding it.

Features of the A530 include: 5.1 Megapixel sensor; 4 x Optical Zoom lens with image stabilization;  640 x 480p Video recording at 30fps with sound; 5 cm Macro focusing distance, Battery rated at 90 shots on 2 x Alkaline batteries (Supplied), 10 preset Scene modes and a 5 cm 86000-dot LCD Screen.
