Works pretty well in maintaining their weight, especially with fast eaters! Also prevents pets from making a mess. Can be used to add wet food a day before and then frozen in freezer as a slow feeding treat. 

I originally bought these for my cats but ended having too many bowls and not enough pets to feed.
