Adidas Techstar Allround 3 spikes (UK 5)

It’s surprisingly difficult to find Adidas running spikes in smaller sizes, so when we found this pair of Adidas Techstar Allround 3 spikes in a size 5, we grabbed them for our child.

These are multi-purpose spikes designed for use across events, including sprints, hurdles and jumps. We bought them as his first pair of spikes, as he had always run barefoot. They were ideal as an introduction, and he adapted to them very quickly.

He has since outgrown them, having only raced in them twice (winning both times). As you can see, they are virtually brand new and in near-mint condition. The only very minor sign of wear is on the toe of one shoe, from the ‘take your marks’ position. See final pic.

If your child has recently transitioned from grass to tartan, you’ll know how uncomfortable barefoot running can be. Some athletes tape their feet, but that comes at a cost in performance, and these spikes offer a far cooler and more effective solution. In a great unisex colourway.
