adidas Originals Dragon sneakers. The adidas Dragon was invented and introduced to the public in 1971, shortly before adidas' founder Adi Dassler's death. Originally, this sneaker was also developed for running on the tartan track in Germany, but was intended for the American market.
This particular example is an early re-issue, and does not have its iconic three stripes as widely spaced as the latest re-issue.  So, it’s more real and a true classic.  The uppers are all suede (in a very bright shade of royal blue) and has no nylon, also something that you won’t see in later re-issues
