Description: Authentic antique Art Deco Morpho butterfly wing brooch, meticulously handcrafted during the 1920s. This exact piece was produced by Thomas L. Mott (stamped TLM on the reverse side), a famous English silversmithing firm in Birmingham that popularized butterfly wing jewellery globally after exhibiting at the 1924 British Empire Exhibition. The shimmering background utilizes the iridescent, natural scales of a South American Blue Morpho butterfly wing. The framing is crafted from authentic 925 sterling silver featuring a finely beaded or rope-twist border pattern.
