Description: Villeroy & Boch Cadiz No2 Casserole Dish with Matching Lid.

Stamped "Ancienne Manufacture Imperiale Et Royale Fondee En 1767. Villeroy & Boch Sepfontaines, Porcelaine a feu - Feuerfest <Cadiz>". 

Produced in 1970, Shape design by Ludwig Scherer, while the Pattern originated from Christine Reuter. This pattern is discontinued. 

The company was founded in 1748, when François Boch and his three sons began manufacturing ceramic tableware and decorative art objects. In 1836, Jean-François Boch merged with the successful stoneware manufacturer Nicolas Villeroy (a once competitor) to form what we know today, Villeroy & Boch. 

Made in Luxembourg, 1970’s.
