Description: Vintage 1960’s Collectible Botanical Artwork Print on Wood. 

Maria Sibylla Merian (1647-1717 was a German-born naturalist and scientific illustrator who specialized in entomology and botanical art. Her notable work, Metamorphosis Insectorum Surinamensium (1705), features detailed illustrations of insects and plants, including the Fig & Butterfly Metamorphosis. 

I suspect it to be Made in Italy.

Visible Flaws: Minor age-related wear. Please view images for full condition, images from part of the description. No returns or Refunds.

Approximate Dimensions: Height 51cm, Length 39cm, Width 2.5cm.
