Description: Highly Collectible Vintage 1960’s Botanical Print in Walnut Frame. 

The Botanical Art “Lavatera Malvone (Lavatera Urberca Irn)" (Mallow or Common Mallow) is based on a drawing by Pierre Jean-François Turpin. The specific print is a hand-coloured stipple copperplate engraving by Lambert Junior, created from Turpin's drawing for "La Flore Medicale" by Chaumeton, Poiret, and Chamberet.

Artist: Pierre Jean-François Turpin (1775-1840) was a prominent French botanical artist known for his detailed and accurate botanical illustrations. Engraver: Lambert Junior executed the stipple copperplate engraving. Publication: The work was part of "La Flore Medicale," a significant botanical publication from Paris, Panckoucke. 

Made in Italy.
