Description: Vintage Corning Vision Ware 1.5L Saucepan.

The amber glass cookware shown is part of the "Visions" or "Visionware" line, a type of glass-ceramic cookware known for its durability and resistance to temperature changes. The brand was developed by Corning Glass. This type of cookware, specifically the amber line, was popular and widely available starting around the 1970s. Production occurred in various locations, with specific items or lines being made in France or the USA. 

Made from a transparent material called Pyroceram, a type of glass-ceramic. Highly resistant to thermal shock, allowing it to go from freezer to stove top without breaking. Can be used on gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops, as well as in conventional and microwave ovens. Non-reactive material that does not contain lead or other harmful metals, making it a safe choice for cooking. 

Made in France, 1970’s.
