Description: Albert E. Price "Country Cabin" Cottage Teapot.

Novelty Cottage teapot by Albert E. Price.

This charming piece features hand-painted Tudor architecture, a textured "thatched" roof, and a unique branch-moulded handle and spout. It is in remarkable condition, complete with its original gold manufacturer's label on the base.

Produced by Albert E. Price Products (A.E.P. Inc.), an American giftware importer from Bellmawr, New Jersey, the piece was Made in China 1991 confirmed by the copyright on base label. The Original Sticker is still Intact.

This is a novelty teapot. While it can technically be used to serve tea, it is designed primarily as a decorative collectible. This style is known as "Cottage Ware." It was originally a massive trend in 1940s England (made famous by brands like Price & Kensington). In the early 90s, American companies like Albert E. Price brought this "nostalgic English" look to a new generation of collectors. Today, it is a quintessential piece for the "Cottagecore" aesthetic.

Made in China, 1991.

Condition: Pristine vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or staining. Interior is clean and unused. Original sticker is attached.

Visible Flaws: None, please note though; I believe this piece to be for display purposes only. When I washed the pot, it made a sizzle sound inside which tells me the pot is porous.
