WHY DOES COPPER TURN SKIN GREEN?
When you wear your first piece of copper jewellery, you might be surprised to notice your skin turning a bit green, where the piece comes into contact with your bare skin. This is totally normal. Copper reacts naturally with the salt content in our skin, especially when we sweat. It reacts more quickly in acidic environments.
