Description  
A matching pair of vintage silver plated pedestal compote bowls with a scalloped shell design, likely dating to the 1930s-1950s. Both are the same size and style, but the silver plating is more worn on one, revealing the brass underneath. This gives them a lovely mixed-metal, aged look when displayed together.

One has a felt base, the other doesn't. Solid, weighted bases with that heavier pre-war/post-war construction. Great for fruit, nuts, potpourri, or as decorative centerpieces. The wear and patina are consistent with genuine age use.
