This magnificent bronze sculpture was gifted to me by a discerning collector who treasures European decorative art. It depicts a graceful classical female figure, accompanied by a cherub, rendered in the playful and elegant Rococo style for which Clodion is renowned.

The statue is imposing in size (77 cm tall, 16.5 kg) and crafted in solid bronze, with a pristine patina that has 
been lovingly preserved over decades. 

It’s a perfect example of the intricate craftsmanship and timeless elegance of 19th-century French posthumous casts, ready to be admired in a home, office, or gallery setting.
