The peeling you see on the inside of the ankle is due to the leather shoes not been worn.and stored away. .  In summary , like any other leather boots, they can peel around the ankle due to the natural properties of leather.The shoe is in excellent condition, and has no flaws or scuff marks on the shoe itself.Only serious buyers please contact me. They are like new with exception of the inner pealing which will not be visible when worn with trousers.
