For sale: A classic Minolta X-300s film camera with a Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm f/1.7 lens.

The Minolta X-300s is a fantastic 35mm SLR, perfect for both beginners and experienced photographers. A popular and reliable manual-focus camera from the 1990s, it features both full manual control and an aperture-priority auto mode, making it easy to get started while still offering creative freedom.

The accompanying MD Rokkor 50mm f/1.7 lens is a legendary "nifty fifty" prime. Known for its sharpness, beautiful color rendition, and a fast f/1.7 aperture, this lens excels at low-light photography and creating stunning portraits with a shallow depth of field and creamy bokeh. It's a versatile and high-quality lens that is a must-have for any Minolta shooter.

The camera and lens are in good condition, with a small number of minor scuff marks consistent with normal use. The lens is free of scratches, fungus and haze. The shutter release capacitor which inevitably fails on these cameras has been replaced and the camera is operating perfectly. Comes with the original camera strap and a generic lens cap.
