It has a sensor on top of its head.

2x on the sides of the tail that has to be pressed simultaneously
2x on top of the tail
1x under the chin
1x in the mouth at the top
It can turn, stalk, walk and run. 
It has two modes, and is highly interactive.
Both the remote and Dinosaur just require many AA batteries.
