Minolta Maxxum 7000 35mm film camera(film tested and working)

This 1985 vintage camera was one of the first auto-focus and auto film advance SLR cameras of its kind. While not the first to have auto-focus, but the first to have auto-focus built into the body. This allows me to believe that it’ll always be a part of history and I absolutely adored my time with it.

The 30-70 is great, allowing you to get in some decently tight shots and a nice separation between the subject and forground. The auto-focus is decently fast, a bit tricky to decide in todays standards. However, absolutely amazing for a camera that’s 40 years old. Please have a look at my sample photos I’ve taken and provided. You’re welcome to ask me anything regarding my time with this camera. I only shot into auto mode, while there is an option for manual focus along with manual shooting mode. 

The camera’s body has got some wear, especially by the right hand grip. The rubber has gone hard, cracked and some parts chipped off. However, mechanically, this camera is sound. 

Other modes include; double exposure, continuous shooting, self-timer, manual mode, shutter priority, aperture priority, manual focus mode and program-automatic. 

Uses 35mm film and 4xAAA batteries(neither are included)
