(Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Empress of the Romans, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia).The Object: This style of object is traditionally called a coin dish, pin dish, or ashtray. It was highly popular in continental Europe during the late 19th and early 20th centuries to mount historic or trade bullion coins into solid silver decorative tableware.Value Aspect: The coin itself is historically struck in 83.3% silver, while the surrounding German dish is 80% silver (as confirmed by your "800" stamp). The back  is a 1780 Maria Theresa Thaler trade coin.Key Details from the Reverse SideThe Design: It features the Austrian double-headed imperial eagle with a coat of arms in the center.The Inscription: Around the edge, it reads ARCHID. AVST. DUX. BURG. CO. TYR. 1780 ∙ X.
