Eroica Ready Alpina

Selling my late 1980’s Alpina with a lot of extras, perfect for the 2025 Classic Eroica South Africa in Montagu.

The frame is Columbus SLX tubing. SLX tubing was introduced in the early 1980’s.

The entire groupset is Shimano 600 tricolour. It was introduced in 1987.

The wheelset is Mavic Open 4CD. This was introduced to the cycling market in 1986.

The Alpina was built in South Africa by Duncan McIntyre. He built frames in the 1980’s to early 1990’s out of Westdene / Booysens in Joburg. They used Reynolds and Columbus tubing.

Extras:
- Vetta tt saddle - used
- Elite stainless steel bottle cage (1 on bike and 1 extra)
- Elite Eroica water bottle (brand new, never used. 1 on bike and 1 extra)
- Time pedals - used
- Look pedals - used
- SILVA vintage black bar tape - brand new

More extras:
- La Vie Clair jersey Large - brand new (Greg Lamond’s replica)
- Columbus cap - brand new
- Gloves Large - brand new from the 80’s
- Leather Onitsuka shoes - used - size 43.5
- Socks with UCI stripes - brand new
- Glasses - just to complete the vintage look 😁
