This is definitely one to add to the books! An incredible vintage, sterling silver and black onyx adjustable ring. The black onyx is a carved mask of a Mexican Mayan god or warrior. I have seen that these retail online at numerous places anything from R1500 - R2000. The current size of the ring is a Q½ however it can be adjusted bigger or smaller. There are no damages, however at the back of the ring, it does have carving or scuff marks most likely from when the ring was soldered onto the base of the mount. I have no idea if it was intended or not, but it almost looks like a type of etching pattern at the back as there are different angles indicating so. Priced accordingly.This is such a special history piece and the first I have come across! Price slightly negotiable
