This exquisite Antique sterling silver cuff bangle, which is 105 years old!😃 This beautiful bangle draws deep inspiration from the romantic artistry of the Victorian era — a time when jewellery was more than adornment; it was an expression of love, sentiment and grace. Although made in the early 20th century, this piece beautifully carries forward the essence of 19th-century design, making it a true bridge between two elegant ages. The bangle features beautifully engraved foliage and raised floral motifs in softly gleaming 9ct rose gold.

 Each petal and leaf is formed with the tender precision of traditional handcraftsmanship. The floral details flow gracefully across the surface, evoking the timeless rhythm of nature frozen in precious metal. A refined beaded border frames the design, while the background is intricately etched with fine patterns that lend texture and depth to the lustrous silver. The contrast between the cool sheen of sterling silver and the warm blush of rose gold captures the quiet romance and femininity that defined the Victorian aesthetic.

The interior bears full English hallmarks for Birmingham, 1920, along with the maker’s mark “D&F” for Deakin & Francis Ltd and the stamp “WAX FILLED” — a traditional Victorian-era method used to reinforce the bangle while preserving its elegant, rounded form.

As seen in the photos, there are three small dents on the inside of the cuff, though they are not visible when worn and do not detract from its beauty or integrity. This gentle wear is entirely consistent with a cherished piece of its age. The exterior remains in exceptional condition, showing only the soft patina that lends antique jewellery its distinctive charm. On the reverse, the engraved initials “GPG”.
The bangle closes securely with its original clasp and retains its delicate safety chain for extra protection. This is more than a piece of jewellery — it is a love letter from the Victorian age, brought to life once more in the 1920s. 
The inside measurements of the bangle is 6.3 cm x 5.1 cm. The outside is 6.9 x 5.6cm. The width is 2.2cm.
