Here we have a beautiful and highly detailed vintage Japanese sterling silver cuff bangle🛕🎎, intricately engraved with a serene landscape🖼 that captures the quiet poetry of Japan’s natural beauty. The design unfolds like a story across the silver surface — featuring a graceful pagoda, a temple gate (torii) and delicate cherry blossoms that drift among trees and foliage. The scenery evokes the peaceful charm of a distant mountain village.

The engraving is exquisitely executed using a chased technique, where each detail is gently hammered into the silver by hand to create depth, texture and light. The result is a miniature work of art — a landscape alive with movement and meaning, framed within the elegant curves of the cuff.

As seen in the photos, there is some natural oxidation, mostly on the inside of the bangle. Please note that in the photos there are areas on the bangle that look like there are patches of oxidation, which there are not😁it is just the reflection of the background. 
I often leave this patina untouched, as it adds warmth, depth, and the unmistakable character that only time can bestow on vintage silver. As expected from a well-loved piece, there are a few light scuffs, mostly on the interior rather than the exterior which can easily be polished if desired. Otherwise, there are no signs of damage or structural flaws — this bangle remains in lovely vintage condition😊.

Based on stylistic features and craftsmanship, this piece likely dates to around the 1950s.

The bangle measures 3.9 cm in width and is adjustable. Its inner diameter is approximately 6 cm x 5.5 cm (that would be how it is shown in the photos) but can be expanded and adjusted easily😃.

Comparable bangles of this style typically retail online for around R3800. This has been priced accordingly.
