Practical for play and pretty for a party! 
Inspired by my grandmother’s pattern, which she used to sew for us when we were kids, this dress is a labor of love and nostalgia. She taught me to sew, and I’ve carried on her tradition with this creation. Made from 100% cotton shweshwe, the fabric is a nod to both quality and comfort. The beautiful ricrac trim and appliquéd daisies are reminiscent of the treasures I used to find at the local trading store, where Schwe-Schwe, Fasco, and ricrac were always a part of the fabric of our lives.

With adjustable ribbon ties and a design that transforms from a summer sundress to a cozy pinafore in cooler weather, this dress is a timeless reminder of family, creativity, and the joy of making something with your own hands.
