Bohemian Reversible Suzani Jacket

This one-of-a-kind vintage Balochi embroidered jacket is a striking piece of wearable art, rooted in the traditional textile heritage of the Balochistan region (alongside Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan).

Beautifully hand-embroidered with folk scenes featuring camels, peacocks, people, and lush floral borders, each detail tells a story. The flower motifs along the border have mirror centres, catching the light with a subtle shimmer that adds to the richness of the piece.

Lightly quilted and padded, the jacket is fully reversible with pockets on both sides.  The inside features a contrasting blue fabric for a more understated alternative look.

Note: As seen in the images, some areas show colour runs, which create the impression of a watercolour - type background. Some may find it enhances the charm of the jacket but it may not be to everyone's taste.

The right sleeve has a feint brown streak (see last pic) and one botton is missing.

Material: Hand-embroidered fabric, lightly quilted. No label but appears to be cotton.
