The Robbe & Berking spoons of the year are collector's items of high artistic and material value. This was the  spoon of the year in 1975. It was forged from 925 Sterling silver and plated with hard gold. It has an enamelled end. The silver weight alone is priced at R1 000.

Since 1969 a new model has been published every year in a strictly limited world edition. The elaborate motifs are enamelled by hand. It's a real collector's piece and a true asset on any menu table. The spoon is marked with the year of manufacture on the back.

The silver manufacturer Robbe & Berking was founded in 1874 and is still the market leader in silver cutlery, supplying the world's finest businesses and homes. Since 1969, they've been using 150 gm solid silver plating. Compared to the conventional 90g silver plating, it has a two-thirds stronger silver coating, a correspondingly longer service life and is of course dishwasher-safe.
