Vintage Polychrome Delft Decanter De Zeven Provinciën Rotterdam Shipyard 1950s

A unique vintage Dutch Delftware decanter featuring a hand-painted depiction of the historic battleship De Zeven Provinciën, flagship of Admiral de Ruyter (1650-1694). Unlike traditional blue and white Delftware, this piece is rendered in vibrant polychrome with gold, green, and blue accents.

The base displays the house flag of the Waalhaven Shipyard in Rotterdam (a blue flag with a white 'X') and is signed B Holland. Likely commissioned as a corporate gift or commemorative item for the shipyard during the mid 20th century (circa 1950s-1960s), this decanter is a collectible example of Dutch ceramic craftsmanship.
