A rare and collectible early Rhodesian silver-plated basket bowl, dating to around the 1960s–1980s. This piece features a hinged handle with a clown’s head motif, an unusual and charming design detail.

Maker’s Marks: IMP (likely the manufacturer’s mark), SAZ (Standards Association of Zimbabwe), and H1 mark

Era: c.1965 – c.1985, originally made under Anglo American Corporation before being acquired by Copperwares (PVT) Ltd., Harare, Zimbabwe

Construction: Non-magnetic silver-plated metal

Design: Smooth rounded form with hinged carry handle, sits on ball feet for stability

Size: Diameter 21.5 cm, height 14 cm with handle upright

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with intact silver plating, minimal signs of wear consistent with age.
