70s/80s Ocelot-Print Faux Fur Swing Coat with Real Fox Fur Trim

A proper statement coat. The body is a beautifully dense faux fur printed in a fine ocelot-leopard pattern — close-set dashes and rosettes in warm sand, caramel and deep espresso, with the kind of soft, plush pile that reads luxurious up close.

A good leopard print or ocelot print is no easy thing to do. Here, the print scale is unusually refined. I haven’t seen a contemporary faux animal print this good in a while. To top it off, it’s the Ocelot/Wild cat family which is even rarer. The print runs continuously across the back and panels, giving it real depth and movement.

How similar does it look to that Celine FW2026 coat in the ocelot print from the last image and the Carelli one that’s sold out?

The genuine fox fur set at the cuffs, full and frosted with that silvery-brown halo is also so stunning. It turns a great vintage coat into something very special. 

Cut with a soft stand/shawl collar (wear it both ways) that frames the face, a clean hook-and-eye front, and a relaxed swing through the body that slightly nipped at the waist. Fully lined in a deep chocolate satin.

Timeless, warm, and a little theatrical.
