The internal cooling gel pad became a little misshapen after a wash cycle. It is still usable, but for optimal cooling performance, we recommend purchasing a new, readily available replacement gel mat to slide into the central pocket. This is an easy, inexpensive fix! The rest of the bed, including the comfortable outer bolster, is in excellent condition.
