Fallen is the highly successful debut studio album by American rock band Evanescence, released on March 4, 2003. It is the band's most commercially successful album to date, having sold over 17 million copies worldwide and earning a rare Diamond certification (10 million units) in the U.S. from the RIAA. 
The album launched the band to international fame and earned them five nominations at the 46th Grammy Awards, where they won Best New Artist and Best Hard Rock Performance for the hit single "Bring Me to Life".
