🎉Up for sale is a beautiful piece of mid-century industrial design history: a Braun D40 Slide Projector, originally designed by the legendary Dieter Rams.
This is a highly sought-after design icon coveted by vintage electronics collectors and design enthusiasts worldwide. Because this is a complete bundle with the original accessories, it is a rare find in South Africa.
What is Included:
• Braun D40 Projector Unit
• Original Factory-Correct Halogen Bulb (Fully operational and bright)
• Original Braun Hard-Shell Carrying Case (with integrated handle)
• Original Braun Physical Instruction Manuals & Documentation
• Power Cable & Connected Remote Control
⭐Condition Note for Collectors:
The unit powers on completely, the bulb is brilliant, and the remote successfully operates the internal motorized lens focus. As is typical with classic vintage electronics of this era, the internal cooling fan area behind the bulb makes a persistent mechanical clicking sound. The machine is fully functional, but it will require standard vintage maintenance—such as a routine internal cleaning or minor bearing lubrication—by a collector to restore it to completely silent operation. Sold as a beautifully preserved, complete vintage set.
😄Note: Serious buyers are welcome to request a video of the unit powered on and running to see the bulb and motorized focus in action.
