Oh I don’t think there is a better example of a 1950’s prom party dress than this frothy little number. From the boned sweetheart bustier with a basque waist to the explosion of a full circle skirt layered with tulle and falling mid shin at a ballet length. The base layer is in pink taffeta and overlayed with two layers of tulle netting. The curved sweetheart of the bustier has a pleated layer of tulle to finish it off with this added additional detail. The fastener is a side metal colour keyed zip with a hook and loop at the top and at the waistline. Other than a couple of small tulle repairs and a little inner lining wear at the top of the bodice, this piece is in excellent condition. Cleaned and ready to wear!
