Late 1960’s to early 1970’s Harriet London short sleeved cottage core dress. Constructed in 100% heavy weight cotton and over dyed in a dark teal green. The neckline is squared and trimmed in a cotton scallop shaped loop edging. Two cotton lace borders run vertically over the front bodice into the high waistline. The short sleeves are puffed at the shoulders with gathers and cinched at the cuff with elastic and trimmed in the same bodice cotton lace. The skirt is simple and straight cut but gathers into the waist seam. Fastens at the back with a metal zip and is unlined. In great condition with slight flaws in the due process near the back hem as pictured. This is typical of over dyed dresses.
