TG GREEN CORNISHWARE Gold Rare Breakfast Coffee Cup and Saucer
Designed by Judith Onions, circa late 1960s

This gold Cornishware coffee cup and saucer was produced by T.G. Green in the late 1960s. It features the iconic broad stripe pattern of Cornishware, but swapped the traditional blue for a distinct mustard-gold colour way, restyled by designer Judith Onions.
This colour was only manufactured for a very short period and these pieces are rare and hard to come by.

Size
The breakfast coffee cup is slightly larger than the teacup: about 8 cm tall with a 15.5 cm diameter saucer.

Condition:
Please note the age-related damage as shown on the photos. There is a surface crack in the cup, which is only in the glazing. There is a patch of discolouration on the glazing of the cup, as well as some discolouration on the inside.
The saucer is in excellent condition.

Both pieces show the appropriate marking.

Note: I have another gold coffee cup, as well as a tea cup and saucer in this colour.
