Barbie Inspired Vintage 1950s Dress

This pink gingham, tea-length day dress with short, puffed sleeves has a fit-and-flare silhouette thanks to a fitted bodice with side-gathers to shape around the bust and a gathered skirt. There are, of course, pockets, a back zipper and an adorable heart-shaped cut-out at the front. The rounded neckline closes with a hook and eye to make zipping up easier. Best worn with some petticoats but just as great without - if you had a little headband, it has kind of a milkmaid charm.
